Our Independent Careers Adviser

The school has an independent careers advisor who provides careers information, advice and guidance on a weekly basis. Your son/daughter will receive the highest quality, impartial, careers advice and guidance to help them prepare for the next step and support them make well informed decisions about their future. My role at Longridge High School is to deliver professional and quality independent careers advice and guidance to young people in years 9, 10 and 11.

I have 19 years of experience working with young people. My first job at 17 was working as a receptionist based in a careers company for young people. I am passionate about the work I do and get a lot of satisfaction in helping young people decide what they would like to do in the future.

Each student will get a dedicated appointment to see me on a 1-2-1 basis where we can talk about their post 16 options to ensure they make an informed decision about their future.
