Students compete in their houses with the total scores from today being added to the house points. Each house puts forwards 2 competitors for each event, with first place getting 6 points, second place getting 5 and so on with sixth place getting 1 point.

We're getting to the sub 1 minute races now! Our quickest 300M runner got across the line in 43.56 seconds for Fairsnape, not quite the record but very close!

After break we've caught up at the score table. Fairsnape and Beacon are fighting it out at the top with Parlick playing catchup. We're about halfway through all the events for the day.

5 Events in we've got Fairsnape off to a good start. Our Year 7 1500M runners are all done, and Mr Riley's 1500M record from 1994 still stands! A full minute slower this year.

History Battlefields Trip 2026

From late Wednesday night to Sunday evening, Mr Rogers, Mr Cross and Miss Dobson took 30 year 9 pupils to France to explore some key sights from WW1 and WW2.
